SCC NEWS
Southeast Community College has hired Ginger Buchanan as Community Education Coordinator in Beatrice, bringing back a popular program that served the community for more than two decades.
Nicole Trevena Flores, social science program chair and global education coordinator at Southeast Community College, received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award for the U.S.-Germany International Education Administrators Award program.
Southeast Community College awarded 1,321 degrees for the 2025 Spring Semester which ended on May 16, 2025.
Southeast Community College was named the 2025 Nebraska Career and Technical Education Outstanding Postsecondary Institution on Tuesday, June 10, at the Nebraska Career Education Conference in Kearney.

Looking back on this journey, I'm truly grateful for all of the experiences SCC has provided me. I remember stepping into college as a shy, anxious student who was solely focused on getting good grades. However, SCC has allowed me to gain new experiences and meet new people all while challenging myself. This has helped me blossom into a more confident version of myself. I have SCC to thank for helping me grow as a person while still being true to myself.
